It is here that you will also be assigned a gorilla group; each gorilla family can only have a maximum of 8 visitors.

The time taken to reach the family you were assigned to will vary depending on their location. On day four, Report to Volcanoes National park’s headquarters early in the morning after a warm breakfast in order to undergo a briefing on gorilla trekking formalities.
