The Luxe Gorilla Safari Lodges in Rwanda

Sabyinyo Silver back Lodge is a community owned lodge and the first of its kind. The lodge built and operated by Governors’ Camp Collection, its owned and rests with a Community Trust, which uses rentals and community fees from the lodge to drive socio - economic and conservation initiatives in the communities adjacent to the National Park.

Situated in the foothills of the mighty Virunga’s, the height of about chain of 15,000 ft volcanoes stretching through Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Its boasts of wonderful views of the volcanoes and the surrounding countryside.

Accommodation at Sabyinyo Silver back Lodge comprises six cottages, two suites, one family cottage. Ruzizi Tented Lodge, Akagera National Park

One of its kinds in east Africa, Ruzizi Tented Lodge is a charming jewel it’s a, mid-range camp, overlooking Lake Ihema in Rwanda’s Akagera National Park. The camp has nine tents spaced widely apart on either side of a thatched reception and dining area, set back from the lake shore and hidden among swaying palms and fruiting fig trees. The lodge is powered by solar energy and prides itself on being environmentally conscious.

Gorilla Nest Lodge

Mountain Gorilla Nest Lodge is a mid-range accommodation (3-star) found in Musanze district, Northern Rwanda in Rwanda country next Volcanoes national park. The lodge is situated in forest of Eucalyptus trees with the beautiful views of Rwanda’s hills and the park.   One can either be at the lodge by road transport from Kigali international airport which takes approximately 2-3 hours to drive to the park and it takes 40 minutes to fly from Kigali to the hotel. The lodge is convenient   and   friendly to guests visiting northern part of Rwanda and Volcanoes National Park with its great views of the mountains and memorable experience.

Volcanoes National Park

The park in located on the northwestern path of Rwanda. It covers 160 km2 (62 sq mi) of rain forest and encompasses five of the eight volcanoes in the Virunga Mountains, namely Karisimbi, Bisoke Muhabura, Gahinga and Sabyinyo. It borders Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda. It is home to the mountain famous gorilla and the golden monkey.
